The Fazio Course at Barefoot Resort has been strategically designed to incorporate many lakes and uniqye tree cover into the landscaping of this award winning course. Waste areas and formal bunkers have been strategically placed for visual and strategic effect throughout the design, natural elevation, rare in Myrtle Beach, add a sense of drama and excitement to your round. Water can be seen on 15 holes, however, many of the lakes weave in and out-of-play to ensure fair playability.
Tee and fairways consist of the new GN-1 Turf Grass, which is a hybrid turf developed by Greg Norman Turf Inc. The approach areas consist of Tif – Eagle sport Bermuda grass. The greens surfaces are an A-1 Bentgrass and the rough areas are 419 Bermuda grass. This is an incredible combination of golfing surfaces, you’ll feel like you’re walking on a carpet.
