Kings North – Myrtle Beach National Golf Club Review

Arnold Palmer Design - North Course MB National

Kings North at Myrtle Beach National Golf Club is one of my top 5 courses in Myrtle Beach, SC.

This incredible Arnold Palmer signature golf course was recognized among America’s Best New Courses in 1996 upon opening and still receive accolades year after year.

King’s North made its way onto Golf Digest’s prestigiuos list of “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses in 2004, 2007, 2009″ and Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” has awarded it 4.5 STARS every year since 1994.  Women Golfers ranked it their “Top 100 Courses in America” between 2000 – 2004, truly a must play in the Myrtle Beach, SC area.

Famous for it’s island green and South Carolina shaped sand traps S and C of Hole 3; the famed par-5 sixth hole, nicknamed “The Gambler” that tempts golfers with a shortcut to the green via an island fairway. (Two great shots allow a chance for eagle); and with over 38 sand traps guarding the fairway on Hole 18 it is easy to see why this has been the most recognized and requested course in Myrtle Beach, SC for over 25 years and counting.

We rate this course as a 5 star Myrtle Beach Golf Course!
