The Long Bay Club is an incredible Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, it is consistently ranked among the top 25 courses in Myrtle Beach, SC annually. This is not a typical Jack Nicklaus design, Long Bay features deep pot bunkers and large waste areas add a unique identity and offer a nice challenge for the average golfer.
Long Bay Review:
#1 – With his reputation, I would think that this golf course would be in greater shape; but layout and golf course design is pretty nice and good for a great challenge. I appreciate my golfing day; we play in winter season. We will come back in spring season; I’m sure that golf course conditions will be better. Thanks, A+. Jacques from Canada, I’m a 12 handicap
#2 – Played Long Bay in Myrtle Beach, SC as the second course of the day after playing Aberdeen. All 4 of us thought this course was way over our heads. The course has a feeling of power like nothing I have ever played before, the way it was designed feels like the well-guarded greens are calling for you to go for it if you think you got what it takes. The bunkers are relentless and unforgiving, this is a humbling golf course, bring your A game. I would love to play this course again when I am ready. By Mike from NJ, I am a 30 handicap and new golfer.
